Thursday 2nd Aprill - Nars training will take place 6pm at Vinces house No 27 Trebarwith Crescent. Bring a wetsuit as we will be jumping in the sea down at Towan for some rescues. See you there!

Nars Training Thursday 26TH March 2009

Thursday 26th March 6.30pm Ocean Room is the venue for this weeks dry work, Probably do some more constructive learning bits and bobs, set up various work stations and get everyone testing eachother on various scenarious. Seemed to go down pretty well last week and encourages some panic learning!

Saturday water session & paddle!

Meet at Vinces 27 Trebarwith Crescent at 2pm if you are up for chipping in around £1.50 each to get a minibus over to watergate. if your keen e-mail ben@surfingistherapy.com so we have a rough idea of numbers to book some transport. Water training starts at 2.30pm where we will do some rescues etc before paddling to Newquay! (slowly...) Then Barbeque at No 27 Trebarwith Crescent for all surf club members, friends and family. Keys in a bowl swinging to follow after, see you there!

NaRS Training Thursday 19th March

NaRS training this week will again be on Thursday in the Ocean room, 6.30pm at Watergate Bay. We've covered a lot of dry theory work now so may start doing some mock exam stuff and scenarios to make sure it is all going in! First test will be SIGNALS!! LEARN THE SIGNALS!!!! They are important and need to be learnt!

Saturday 14th March

This picture is to keep the girls and Ben Ford happy, All agreed a water session Saturday 14th March, we'll see how big the swell is do a few rescues, practise some spinals, maybe few tube rescues etc. Watergate beach 10am Saturday 14th March, see you there!

Wednesday 12th March 2009 -NARS dry training, Ocean Room 6.30pm - Unfortunatly there is a wedding on in the ocean room on Thursday so we are going to have to bring NaRS training forward to Wednesday. Appologies for the short notice and no doubt it will end in a divorce anyhow but unfortubatly we are at the mercy of the bride and groom. If you can make it then that will be great.
